The ideal waist hips ratio for women would be .8 of less according to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. If a woman’s waist-to-hip ratio is around .72 they would consider you to be a pear shaped body. Any waist to hip ratio that falls between .76 and .83 is considered to be at risk of a heart attack or coronary disease.
